John Cena is back Monday Night Raw This week to celebrate 20 years of being a WWE Superstar. The 16-time world champion appeared multiple times backstage throughout the night, speaking with current stars such as The Street Profits, Ezekiel and Austin Theory. Given their interactions on social media in recent months, many expected a show between Cena and Theory to be set up during the show, but that didn’t happen. Instead, he made a promo for Cena thank fans for their years of support.
He talked about his future in the company, noting that he’s now 45 and doesn’t know when he’ll be back in the ring again. But Cena notes that whenever he returns, it won’t be for just one match. Last year’s ‘Summer of Cena’ saw the Peacemaker star wrestle in 15 live events and challenge Roman Reigns that year summerslam Pay per view las vegas.

Cena spoke about his thoughts on hanging up his shoes in an interview with Chris Hardwicke last year. His upcoming acting roles include the second season of peace maker and movies Snafu, Argyle, The IndependentAnd the Wile E. Coyote.
“Back in WWE, it’s a whole new world,” Cena said. “A new cast of characters, a new direction with the company, new platforms, a new environment. There’s a challenge there.” “To challenge my 44-year-old self to come back, there’s a fundamental challenge there, a set of circumstances. That’s a good challenge in many ways. My body can tell me after such a long stay, ‘Dude, you’re re-finishing’ or it can tell me, ‘You’re away’ Too about ending, it’s crazy.” This is another interesting conversation with myself. If I’m physical, I’m slower, I honestly told everyone I’d keep doing it until I offended the client. I will constantly go there and do what I can to contribute and add.
